IHSR Research Highlight (RH)

Research Highlight is a strategy to communicate the key messages from research findings as well as the key considerations for stakeholders to take action based on the research findings. Each document was customised to the targeted stakeholder’s level of understanding to increase policy and practice uptake. Research highlight originated as a tool for knowledge translation that was developed from one of WHO’s Evidence-informed Policy Network (EVIPNET)’s activities in 2005, where Malaysia was one of the pioneer countries for the network. This tool has since been an institutionalised practice in IHSR and incorporated as a research output document. As research highlights are research output documents that were created with specific target audiences in mind, it is therefore is not available for public access yet.
